Meditation
Your body cannot be well when your mind isn't. The reverse is also true. Take time everyday to sit down in a quiet place and do nothing. Whether it's simply focusing on your breathing or softly and mindfully saying words about gratitude, kindness, compassion and forgiveness, to yourself and others -- it's meditation -- and it's good for your mental and physical health. Meditation helps lower blood pressure, pain, insomnia, anxiety and depression.
Meditate everyday -- do it every morning if you can, before your day kicks off.
Sit in a quiet (or relatively quiet) place.
Don't expect a lot from the practice; don't be hard on yourself -- just keep on practicing.
Don't worry about duration -- start with a couple minutes and increase gradually.
In the beginning, if you need one, find a meditation application or podcast that plays in the background to guide you. My favorite is One Mind Dharma on Castbox App. and Mindfulness Coach
